Word of the Day #5: Restructure

Restructure [ree-struhk-cher]: To change the structure of something; to reorganize or redeesign.

1-) The mayor opted to restructure the city with local tax revenue. 2-) After the nasty scandal, the politician restructured his image in order to maintain support. 3-) School dictricts across the US resisted the federal government’s attempt to restructure their educational curriculum.

Word of the Day is a fun idea I came up with to help my friends advance their English proficiency. Perfect for students of English as a foreign language and native English speakers who want to sharpen up their vocabulary. All words and sample sentences are my own. Feel free to share the entries with your friends and make your own contextual sentences in the comment section below.
