True happiness is to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future, not to amuse ourselves with either hopes or fears but to rest satisfied with what we have, which is sufficient, for he that is so, wants nothing.

We quickly get offended when people criticize us or gossip about us behind our backs, and understandably so. But what if we took a moment to remember all the wrong things we’ve said and done in our lives (or thought) that nobody knows about. The truth is we are a lot worse than people think. Remember this when you feel tempted to get offended, even if people are not being truthful or giving you a fair shake. What should offend us is the garbage we allow our minds to be polluted with—the same bad energy we recycle back into the world. It’s more important to have a pure heart than a pure reputation. And, at the end of the day, it’s the only thing we have control over.
The time is always right to do what is right.
It’s never too late to have a happy childhood.

Imagine you have $86,400 in your account and someone steals $10 from you. Will you be upset and throw all of the $86,390 away in hopes of getting back at the person that took your $10? Or move on and live? Move on and live, right. See, we all have 86,400 seconds every day, so don’t let someone’s negative 10 seconds ruin the rest of the 86,390. Don’t sweat the small stuff, life is bigger than that.
Hack your past with forgiveness. Hack your present with mindfulness. Hack your future with I am enough.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference.
A shark in a fish tank will grow to be 8 inches, but in the ocean it will grow to 8 feet or more. A shark will never outgrow its environment and the same is true about you. Change your environment and watch your growth accelerate.

Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.
By accepting life before it happens, and letting go of your inner resistance to all things you cannot change, you unlock true emotional freedom from all of your self-imposed emotional pain.
You are only as strong as your weakest belief.
It is often said that everything happens for a reason, but you must embrace the perspective that it’s never a reason that is predetermined or out of your control. It is always your responsibility to choose the most empowering reasons for the occurrences of your life.
If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.
Did I offer peace today? Did I bring a smile to someone’s face? Did I say words of healing? Did I let go of my anger and resentment? Did I forgive? Did I love? These are the real questions. I must trust that the little bit of love that I sow now will bear many fruits, here in this world and the life to come.
Your children are not your children.⠀ They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself. They come through you but not from you, and though they are with you yet they belong not to you.
Discipline is between choosing what you want now and what you want MOST. Impulse is the enemy of success.
Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.
We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.
Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.
1) Only focus on the things that you have total control over like your effort and your attitude. 2) Do what you love for a living and attack it each day with joy and enthusiasm. 3) Dream big and ignore the naysayers. 4) Be relentless and never give up on your dreams. 5) Choose faith over fear.

I find that most of wake up day, not because we genuinely ‘want’ to, but because we have to. We have to be somewhere, do something, answer to or take care of someone. But when you shift your intention and create a genuine desire – event enthusiasm – for waking up in the morning, your entire life changes.
How we start our day determines how we create our life. Are you snoozing through your morning… snoozing through your life… and snoozing through your unlimited potential… Or are YOU committed to waking up each day with passion, purpose, and a plan so you can create the life you truly want and deserve?
The old saying, “You snooze, you lose,” may have a much deeper meaning than any of us realizes. When you delay waking up until you have to–meaning you wait until the last possible moment to get out of bed and start your day–consider that what you’re actually doing is resisting your life. Every time you hit the snooze button, you’re in a state of resistance to your day, to you life, and to waking up and creating the life you say you want… It’s as if you’re saying, I don’t want to live my life, at least not to the fullest.
Only one thing has to change for us to know happiness in our lives: where we focus our attention
