1-) Many traditional people believe modesty has gone out of fashion. They say girls today wear revealing clothing and guys show off more than ever. 2-) I lived in a modest house growing up. It wasn’t large or extravagant, but it served us well. 3-) The workers requested a big raise but instead were granted a modest one.

Word of the Day is a fun idea I came up with to help my friends advance their English proficiency. Perfect for students of English as a foreign language and native English speakers who want to sharpen up their vocabulary. All words and sample sentences are my own.
