Word of the Day #95: Winsome

Winsome [ win-suh m ]: winning others over through charisma, personality, smarts, etc.

1-) The guest lecturer on nuclear energy was winsome. He didn’t just present facts on the issue but inspired us to agree with his opinions.

2-) Evangelism requires that you be winsome. It’s about bringing others to your side not just telling stories.

3-) If you want to win the debate, you have to be winsome. You have to win over people’s hearts, not just their heads.
