[You can follow me on Twitter @creatorvilla.] I see at least two ways of interpreting this statue: one, the sacrifice parents make to build the lives of their children; and two, the giving of parents to their children what nobody ever gave them. This is the definition of grace– when we give others what they do not deserve or what we cannot reasonable be expected to give. FYI, I couldn’t find any info on the artist.
